This session will provide an overview of metabolic syndrome and sleep disordered breathing and its effects on cardiovascular health, specifically as it relates to risk for developing heart failure. An update on treatment strategies for obesity, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia and sleep disorders will be provided.
