Learning Outcomes

  • Learners will self report knowledge gained with regard to optimizing the management of patients and identifying current therapies for pulmonary arterial hypertension.
  • Learners will self report knowledge gain of the different types of pulmonary hypertension in addition to acknowledging the guideline directed test, which is key for diagnosis of the type of pulmonary hypertension.
  • At the conclusion of this activity, learners will self report increased confidence in identifying the causes, clinical signs/symptoms, and understanding the importance of early recognition in regard to reduced mortality for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.
  • 6 months post activity, learners will self report increased early recognition of pulmonary hypertension and appropriate referral to an expert pulmonary hypertension center.
